Hurricane Isabel, 18 September 2003: Eye Landfall at Atlantic, North Carolina:
DOW2, DOW3, and the Rapid-DOW are deployed in a triangle which is crossed by the eye at landfall in the Atlantic-SeaLevel-CedarIsland area. Very high resolution data in small-scale boundary layer rolls is collected as well as data over the TTU tower at a range of 4 km from DOW3.
