The DOW mobile radar program, including the Rapid-DOW, and the ROTATE-2003 tornado research program, continue to advance, now under new management at CSWR.
The Doppler On Wheels (DOW), Bistatic Network, and Rapid-Scan programs, and related tornado, hurricane, and convective initiation studies, and educational efforts, have moved to The Center For Severe Weather Research (CSWR), a non-profit research organization located in Boulder, Colorado, funded primarily by the National Science Foundation, with close collaborations with the National Center for Atmospheric Research, and the Pennsylvania State University.
This transition occured on 01 March 2003, and CSWR's web presence is under development. This site will contain information concerning CSWR, the DOW, Bistatic, and Rapid-Scan programs and links to data sources.
